New Student Reception Come celebrate CAL with the next class of Golden Bears!
This is our most important outreach event. We need as many of you to help as possible. It is a lot of fun. Your only responsibility is to talk to prospective students and their parents about the CAL experience. At the end of the program, each of us will go up to the podium and mention your name and current occupation. It is very impressive for everyone to see the number of alumni who come to help and the diversity of our occupations.
The event is scheduled from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. I would ask alumni to get there at 5:30 pm and plan to leave around 9 pm. Professional attire. We usually get close to 600 people for this event.
